Kayaking on the Bay to the historic Lighthouse
The winds were calm and our intrepid leaders (Paul and Anni) decided to chance the open waters of the Big Bay! It was a perfect paddle although the lighthouse took a long time grow on the horizon 🙂

We weren’t a big group but more than made up for it with our 2 (and 3) wheeled pedaling prowess from St. Marie among the Hurons to Waubashene!
The gang had a great ride on the Georgian Trail and much deserved treats & coffee 🙂
The peaceful paddle was highlighted by the drone of a search and rescue helicopter above…as Paul put it, something straight out of “Apocalypse Now”..we did our part, scanning the shores 🙂
